The enemy has a strategy in this current season of blooming in our spiritual family: to "ruin the vineyard” with “little foxes” as spoken of in Song of Songs 2:14-15. Jon Smith and Sam McVay explore these root damaging issues that produce division and destruction along with how to battle against them.
Song of Songs 2:14-15 (NIV) 14 My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely. 15 Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are blooming.
Zechariah 8:12 (NIV) 12 “The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people.
We are in a season of blooming in our spiritual family.
The Lord wants to release great dynamic fruitful growth in the earth through the ministry here.
But...there is a warning: Catch the little foxes that ruin the vineyard.
The enemy has a strategy in this season: to "ruin the vineyard".
His strategy is to use little "root damaging" issues that produce division and destruction.
How to battle:
1. Expose yourself to the Lord's love and delight in you (Song of Songs 2:14)
2. Confess quickly to Him your anxious negative thoughts.
3. Humbly go to those you feel a "wedge" with making all things clean.
4. Ask for the total destruction of vineyard destroying issues in your heart.
