- Gabriel proclaimed Jesus would be a King to Mary.
- Herod was provoked to murderous anger, not by a savior but rather a King.
- Jesus taught in Luke 19 that He is a King who will be rejected by his citizens.
- Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24 that he would come back as a triumphant King.
- Jesus tells Pilate that being a King was why He was born and the truth He came to proclaim.
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
We are called to seek and submit to the King.
