Ephesians 3:14-19
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 THAT He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 THAT Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; THAT you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; THAT you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Grant (give, allow fulfillment of, permit) - in accordance with the riches of His glory - Strength

Inner Man Strengthened

Then — Christ dwelling (manifesting His presence) in your heart through faith

“Rooted" - Strength - down deep - under the surface - in your Inner Man
“Grounded” - Mentally & emotionally stable, sensible, realistic - Christ dwelling in a heart

Then able to comprehend WITH the saints, the Love of Christ which passes knowledge

Then to be filled with ALL the fullness of God

God is the All in all

God’s Goal: To fill us all with All His fullness

How?
- Saints must together comprehend (grasp, contain) the Love of Christ
How?
- They must be rooted and grounded in love
How?
- Strengthened in their inner man (rooted) & allowing Christ to dwell in their hearts (grounded)
How?
- God must Grant (give, allow fulfillment of, permit) it
How?
- “I bow my knees to the Father.”  We ask, pray

POWER - “the ability to act or produce an effect”

Acts 1:8 (NIV)
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Ephesians 1:19 (NIV)
19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength

Colossians 1:11 (NIV)
11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,

INTERCESSION - “Prayer, Petition, or Entreaty In Favor of Another”

Spirit’s Intercession
Romans 8:26 (NIV)
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

Jesus’ Intercession
Romans 8:34 (NIV)
34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Psalm 2:7-8 (NIV)
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.
8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

Isaiah 53:11-12 (NIV)
11 After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Hebrews 7:25 (NIV)
25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
