God Incomparable

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us” (Tozer, 1961, p. 1).

Exodus 3:13-15 (ESV)
13 Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?”
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
15 God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘YAHWEH, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.

I AM WHO I AM
I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE
I AM AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE WHAT I AM AND WILL FOREVER BE
YAHWEH – “He is”, “to exist”, or “to be”

God is incomparable.
* “To whom then will you liken God, or what likeness compare with him?” – Isaiah 40:18
* “To whom then will you compare Me, that I should be like him, says the Holy One” – Isaiah 40:25
* "To whom will you liken me and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be alike?” – Isaiah 46:5
* “…for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me” – Isaiah 46:9
* “For who in the skies can be compared to YAHWEH? Who among the heavenly beings is like YAHWEH” – Psalm 89:6
