Notes

The Lord’s Prayer is more than a list of good petitions.

It is a divine unveiling of the passions in the heart of Jesus.

Yes, it articulates clear petitions or requests that Jesus wanted prayed by His followers.
But that is the fruit expression, while the root desires are in the heart of Jesus.

In the heart of Jesus for His Father are:
  - His Father’s Name glorified
  - His Father’s Kingdom manifest
  - His Father’s will (pleasure) done

In the heart of Jesus for His disciples are:
  - Daily Provision
  - Hearts of Forgiveness
  - Protection from Real Enemies

I encourage meditation on all of these with a view to the heart of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit will work these into your heart as they are in the heart of Jesus.
