Matthew 6:9-15 (HCSB)
Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, Your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]

While Jesus was teaching his disciples to pray, he was also giving them, and us, a framework for our relationship with our loving Creator and a discipleship tool for how to build our faith.

"Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn.
Matthew 6:9 (TPT)

Does my view of God as father match who he really is?
How can I align my life with his kingdom plan?
Do my goals, desires, and values align with God’s?
Can I trust that what he calls me into today, he will provide for?
Am I in right relationship with God? And with others?
Am I using my gifts and passions to advance God’s kingdom? What keeps me from living out the identity God envisioned for me?

The Lord’s Prayer gives us our Identity, our Purpose, our Source, our Forgiveness/Healer, our Protector.
