Matthew 28:18-19a ESV

So what is a disciple?

Let's let Jesus define it.

1) Matthew 28:19
Baptizing them in(into) the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

2) Matthew 28:20
Teaching them to obey everything I commanded you.

3) John 15:8
“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”

((Luke 14:25 "Now great crowds accompanied him, and he turned and said to them:))

4) Luke 14:26
If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.

5) Luke 14:27
Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.

6) Luke 14:33
So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple.
