- Like Peter (Acts 3:12)
Acts 3:12 (NIV)
12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
- Like Paul (2 Corinthians 3:5)
2 Corinthians 3:5 (NIV)
5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
- Like Jesus (John 5:30, 6:38, 63)
John 5:30 (NIV)
30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
John 6:38, 63 (NIV)
38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.

Nature of Service: In the Spirit
God found His Man!
Psalm 80:17-19 (NIV)
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
Jeremiah 30:21-22 (NIV)
21 Their leader will be one of their own; their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near and he will come close to me—for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?’ declares the Lord.
22 “‘So you will be my people, and I will be your God.’”
Only Through Jesus!
Hebrews 13:20-21 (NIV)
20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,
21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1 John 4:9 (NIV)
9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
"We Do Not Preach Ourselves But Jesus Christ as Lord"
2 Corinthians 4:4-7 (NIV)
4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
Why?
- Knowledge of the Glory of the Lord Shines in HIS face
- We are earthen pots. The weaker the vessel, the stronger His power is shown
Focus on the Treasure inside!
