Notes

Ephesians 4:11-13 (ESV)
11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,
12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

Review:
- “Until” is why
- Equippers Equip the Saints. Saints DO the Ministry.

Women:
- Gifts are manifestations of the Holy Spirit that build up/equip the body.
- Government is not about gifting but rather authority and kingdom order.
- Women, like men, can operate in all of the gifts listed in Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4.
- Elders are men.

Personal:
- I am most comfortable with using the Equipper titles as verbs instead of nouns.
- I am aware and not ashamed of what God has made me in the body of Christ.
- I choose to let others do most of the identifying of who I am.
