Notes

Philippians 2:12 (ESV)
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Fear = phobos
Trembling = tromos

Salvation here is eternal redemption but also the full deliverance in the disciple so that they are more fully manifesting Christ.

The Lord calls the believers to wholeheartedly, with deep reverence and attentiveness, WORK OUT the saving processes inside them.

The WORKING OUT is to be in agreement with the WORKING & WILLING IN that the Spirit is perpetually doing in us.

The driving passion and pattern of the Lord’s working is His Good Pleasure!

And I believe that His good pleasure is fulfilled in our good pleasure in Christ!
