Starting in Malachi 1, Jonathan teaches about the honor and respect due to our Father & Master. Blessed are those who not only hear the word of God, but do it. Doers are justified, not merely hearers.

Jonathan shifts his sermon to next week and shares a short prophetic encouragement from the Luke 1 story of Zechariah.  Doubt tied his tongue, and an act of faith let it loose.  Similarly, his 8th born child, Bradford, is a sign that we are “crossing over” to a new season as a body.

Jonathan reminds us that growth, wisdom and humility in our marriages often come as a result of difficult discussions and disagreements.  Likewise, in the Church we can rest assured that good things are happening as we wrestle out our disagreements in love.  Hang in there!

Following worship, Jonathan shares out of Isaiah 45 and leads us into prayer for two things: 1) That the nations would turn to the Lord and be saved, and 2) that the Church, in increasing measure, would make her boast in the Lord.
