"A man of God from Judah prophesied the birth of King Josiah (more than 250 years in advance!) and the destruction of Jeroboams idolatrous worship system at Bethel. However, the man of God caved at the deception of a false prophet, and he was killed by a supernatural lion attack, further confirming the Lords word. Today, we also must resist the appeal of money, power, and religious falsehoods."

The Promise of Perpetual Presence for the Disciple

One of the greatest statements made in the Bible is the promise that Jesus would be with us always (Matt. 28:18-20). This was accomplished by Jesus sending His Spirit to live in us. A life filled with and led by the Holy Spirit is the normal Christian life and in Gods eyes should be the only normal human life.
