"A man of God from Judah prophesied the birth of King Josiah (more than 250 years in advance!) and the destruction of Jeroboams idolatrous worship system at Bethel. As a sign, God withered Jeroboams violent hand and then healed it after the man of Gods intercession. Jeroboam tempted the man of God with money and power, but the prophet resisted. However, the man of God caved at the deception of a false prophet, and he was killed by a supernatural lion attack, further confirming the Lords word. Today, we also must resist the appeal of money, power, and religious falsehoods."
"God has designed kingdom power to operate in Spirit filled relationships. These relationships will bring about fruit in a believers life. It is literally kingdom law that God designed the ""one another"" culture to be the place for real kingdom expression."
"Spencer Stewart: How can God allow evil and suffering and still be a good God? It does not help to decide God does not exist or that He cant know whats coming or isnt strong enough to stop it. Scripture shows God is sovereign and good. We look for answers in analogies from our lives and in the examples of Job and Jesus, but explanations are not really what we long for...."
Sam preaches on how 2 Corinthians 5 shows the process in which the Lord causes us to become ministers of reconciliation. Jonathan adds a brief word of encouragement about the harvest and being a harvester at the last hour.
"Samuel McVay III gives a word of direction about equipping the youth to fall in love with Jesus, grow in faith, walk in the Spirit, and make disciples. This happens as we learn to die to ourselves and let Christ live."
One of the greatest statements made in the Bible is the promise that Jesus would be with us always (Matt. 28:18-20). This was accomplished by Jesus sending His Spirit to live in us. A life filled with and led by the Holy Spirit is the normal Christian life and in Gods eyes should be the only normal human life.
